FERGUSON TEF20 ROAD REG, DIESEL VINTAGE / CLASSIC WATCH THE ARMCHAIR TEST DRIVE VIDEO ABOVE Always a popular offering and being a diesel we expect it to sell quickly. As seen in the video this little Fergie is starting, running and driving around exactly as intended, these little machines are so much fun to be on, you cant help smiling. It has a full set of recently fitted new tyres, all hold air and no leaks. The engine starts well with no additives (snuff) and runs very cleanly with excellent oil pressure. All the gears select correctly, no diff, bearing or transmission whines. The hydraulics work correctly, the PTO operates. Brakes are working well, but would benefit from adjustment for a sharper stop (We will sort this, its only a 2 min job). No oil or water leaks. Steady steering at speed, see video. Oil and ammeter gauges working. We have the full current V5c log book, it has its original ID plate with a serial number from 1955. It has lots of extras fitted, footplates, later "35" type tilting seat, wing extensions to footplates, drawbar (tow pin not included), tipping trailer pipe and cap, PTO shaft cap. A full set of road lights with indicators, not all currently working, but every time we have a fiddle we get another working and a trailer socket, as yet untested. Paint finish is not the best, it looks presentable, but if your looking for a show winner it will need a bit of filling, sanding and painting, but all the important oily bits are spot on.
